Lumière is the French word for light and if there’s one thing I’m endlessly fascinated by, it’s light.
I see it the way some people read poetry. The way it pours through windows, wraps around shoulders, softens edges, blurs out imperfections. It tells a story. And when I shoot, I’m not just chasing the light in the room, I’m looking for the light inside you.

Consultation & scheduling
Christine Sarah boudoir only accepts a handful of sessions per month to ensure that each client experiences the highest level of care and 100% of my attention.
Boudoir sessions are never rushed to allow the freedom of creating your beautiful art. Because of this, we recommend you book in advance to be sure we have availability. I always recommend a quick phone consultation prior to scheduling your session to go over our process, the investment and to be sure we are a good fit! Building rapport and trust with our clients is a big part of our mission, and it’s much easier than sending a million emails back and forth. We always offer complimentary in-person consultations at the studio as well! Come see the space, tour our breathtaking outdoor grounds, and chat with me! I promise to make this as comfortable and easy as possible.

A reminder of self love through preparation
I realize this is a bold statement, but my mission is to change women’s lives. We could all use a gentle reminder to make loving ourselves and self care more of a priority in our busy lives. My goal is to provide you with a unique preparation guide that will not only help you prepare for your incredible photo session, but will spark positive and healthy change in your daily habits if you are open to it. Your preparation guide will include information on what to wear for your body type, where to shop and what you can expect upon your arrival! I give you all the tools for an incredible photo shoot and am always available for any questions you have along the way.

Hair styling & makeup artistry
By the time you arrive to our studio on the day of your shoot, you should already be feeling like a refreshed version of your best self. Hair and makeup takes place either at our artists studio in the Medford area, or on site at Christine Sarah Studio. This is your time to feel beautiful and revel in it!
Hair and makeup is complimentary for each session booked with Christine Sarah and recommended for the best possible images.

Fully guided photo session
It’s shoot time! You are feeling incredible and a little nervous, but I will help shake off those nerves within moments of starting your shoot. Every step of this process will be fully guided and packed with immense amounts of encouragement and positivity. You will be striking poses and showing your relaxed authentic self in no time. These shoots are so much fun, ladies! We play music and we laugh, a lot. You will thoroughly enjoy yourself and be immersed in an environment that has the most warmth and encouragement you have ever experienced. We are women celebrating women and we want to remind you how incredible you are.

Image retouching
Professional image retouching is included in all of our sessions. I offer blemish removal, delicate skin smoothing and color enhancements along with black and white conversions. I have a naturalistic approach while bringing out your very best attributes. For the majority of our images, my excellent use of lighting creates an image that is already perfect in camera and only minor retouching is necessary. By the time you see your images, they have been individually inspected and delicately retouched as needed. We will also go over your preferences in your preparation.

Image reveal
I are just as excited to show you your stunning images as you are to see them! Join me back in the studio 2-3 weeks after your session for your image reveal on the big screen. By now, these images have been delicately retouched and are true works of art. Touch and feel our luxury selection of handcrafted heirloom albums, unique wall art and more with fully customizable options that match your style. Only choose what you love! Luxury print products and digital images are available for purchase separate from your shoot in a zero pressure environment.

Simplistically put, I want to take the best photographs you have ever seen of yourself.
I am a mother of 3 young children and have myself experienced the feeling of losing my identity and spark. Life has a way of making you last on your own list and while I believe that selflessness and pouring into others in a beautiful thing, I also believe it’s important to prioritize yourself now and then, so that you can continue to pour into others as the best version of yourself.
I realize that the thought of doing a boudoir session can lead you outside of your comfort zone, but the that is usually where the magic happens in life! I am immensely passionate about the transformative power of boudoir and the relationships I build with my clients. I will direct and encourage you through every single step of this process, leaving zero guess work for you. I am confident you will leave this experience as a more rejuvenated version of yourself.
